At Patter Vet Co. we know how busy your schedule is, but we also know how important it is to take great care of your pet! Our online pharmacy allows you to shop any time of the day for the things you need for your pet—from pharmaceuticals to food to nutraceuticals—we have what you need, and it is conveniently delivered to your home. Our online pharmacy will link to your pet’s medical record at Patter Vet Co., so that we can anticipate your needs and any potential reactions to new products your pet may be prescribed.

HAYS FYKE, D.V.M.
Hays Fyke, D.V.M. Graduated in 2010 from St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine. He met his future wife, Andrea, while completing his mixed animal clinical rotation at Purdue University. After graduation, Hays completed a rotating internship at Southern California Veterinary Specialty Hospital where he honed his small animal skills in surgery, internal medicine and emergency care. After returning to GA in 2016, Hays began practicing mixed animal medicine, again. He went on to complete a private practice residency in Theriogenology in 2022. Hays is gifted in small animal medicine, surgery and reproductive medicine. Hays also provides livestock veterinary services to central Georgia.
Hays was born and raised in Macon, GA, and is delighted to be able to raise his children here. He loves the tight knit community and the nostalgia of being home. Hays has been dreaming of opening a veterinary hospital of his own for many years—one that would provide the highest quality of care for pets and their owners. Hays looks forward to meeting you and your family.

ANDREA THORMAHLEN, D.V.M.
Andrea Thormahlen, D.V.M. (“Dr. T”) Graduated from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009, where she met her future husband, Hays. She practiced in a small animal practice in her hometown of Southern California for 7 years before relocating to GA. Since moving to GA Andrea has worked part time, while enjoying raising their two children. She loves getting to know the families in her community and is honored to help care for your pets. Andrea enjoys dermatology, dentistry, internal medicine, and preventative care. She is looking forward to getting to know your family and your “fur babies.”

KATIE RUSHING
Katie is a Registered Veterinary Technician and the Office Manager at Patter Vet Co. She graduated from Ogeechee Technical College in 2013 with a degree in Veterinary Technology. Katie has always had a deep love for animals and finds true joy in helping pets stay healthy and happy. She’s proud to be part of a caring team that treats every patient like family and works hard to make each visit a positive experience. Outside of the clinic, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and their three teenagers, whether they’re relaxing at home, traveling, or just enjoying the little moments together.

Outside of work, Jeannette runs a small boarding business, provides light grooming services, volunteers with the Humane Society of Houston County, GA, and is a proud pet parent to five rescued dogs. She loves spending time with her family and her two-year-old granddaughter.
